Former RAC president Lee Suitor passes away

Lee Suitor, a resident of Four Freedoms House who served as president of Resident Action Council in 2016-2017 died of cancer on Nov. 18, 2017.
Suitor was born in San Francisco and studied music at Union Theological Seminary in New York, from which he received a master’s degree in music.
The 75-year-old devoted most of his career to music, composing and arranging as well as conducting and serving as a church organist across the country.

While serving as secretary for Stewart Manor Resident Council between 2008 and 2009, he worked with Metro Transit to ensure a bus stop would continue serving the community.
